Germany plus beer plus tradition equals Oktoberfest. Nearly every city, town and village has it's own brewery, along with their own Okteberfest. The biggest and most famous is Munich. For two weeks - September 21 through October 6 this year - Munich's Theresienwiese Meadow is transformed. Huge tents sponsored by the major breweries, carnival rides, parades, food, dancing, etc. make this the place to be in Germany.
The tour lets you enjoy all of this. Beginning in Prague, Czech Republic, one of Europe's finest "old" cities, we journey to Pilsen (home of Pilsner beer). On to the ancient city of Regensburg, Passua and Salzburg. Innsbruck, Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberammergau awaits us on the way to Munich. Driving through Bavaria we'll visit King Ludwig's "Fairytale" castle, Neuschwanstein. Three nights in Munich will allow you to enjoy all the attractions of Oktoberfest.
City tours, cathedrals and museums, wonderful people, food and of course beer. All this will be ours to share.
