At Avalon Wine Tours we've done the research for you, and are constantly updating and improving our knowledge. We have access to the top wineries, and know each area intimately. We can plan our time most efficiently - based on what you want to see and do.

With our air-conditioned minibus, there are no surprises with transportation. You have the value of our experience, organization and personal contacts with service only found in our private groups of 4-8 people. You won't find a more carefully planned or better value tour - on most tours our rates include all meals, tastings and scheduled visits. You may find a cheaper tour, but why settle for second best when you're going so far for something so important?

We have no affiliation with the wine trade. The owners of the top wineries know that our guests have a genuine love and appreciation of their wine. They welcome us with a respect that simply doesn't exist on trade-organized tours, and our aim is to take you to the best and most interesting properties, not to try to sell you wine. We also try to lead most French tours ourselves, as it is our personal touch that earns this respect - both from the winemakers of France and our customers.
