Welcome to Access To Adventure and the Marble Mountain Ranch. We invite you to join us on some of California's finest whitewater. Our tenured guides, state of the art equipment, emphasis on safety and personal service blend to produce an outdoor vacation beyond comparison. With the recent move of our home base to the Marble Mountain Ranch (previously Young's Ranch) we are now proud to also offer salmon and steelhead driftboat fishing trips on the Klamath, mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding.

Our new home is a 50 acre ranch at the foot of the spectacular Marble Mountain Wilderness. The ranch offers: 11 housekeeping cabins, 2 deluxe rentals homes, beautiful campgrounds for individuals and groups, R.V. hookups, a full service lodge that provides meals, a deli, gift shop, showers, laundry facilities, river access and miles of hiking and biking trails. We will gladly help you customize your itinerary and cater your group vacation, reunion, retreat or reception. We invite you to join us as we explore together the serenity of a secluded waterfall, the exhilaration of the rapids and the flight of monster steelhead that has stolen your lure!

See you on the river,
Doug and Heidi Cole

Whitewater Rafting:

Whitewater Rafting is our specialty! We're proud to say that we have some of the best whitewater rafting in the world! We have beginner, intermediate and advanced trips, ranging from one to five days in length. We raft a wide range of rivers, including the Trinity, Klamath, Carson, American, Salmon and Scott Rivers. For a detailed schedule, price list, or sample itinerary call (800)-KLAMATH or (916) 469-3322.

Salmon & Steelhead Fishing:

Let our expert guides drift you to isolated fishing holes. We provide the guide, the drift boat (2 persons per boat) and tackle for lure, bait or fly fishing. Stay in our cabins and enjoy family style meals in the lodge while at Marble Mountain Ranch. Steelhead fishing here is best from September through April. Salmon fishing is best September through October.

Horseback Riding:

The days of the early West are relived at Marble Mountain Ranch with horseback trail rides following gold rush mining flumes. Expert riders follow creeks fed by the Marble Mountain Wilderness and beginners can take the short and easy ride around our 50 acre ranch. We suggest our "saddle and paddle" combination packages mixing trail rides with rafting or mountain biking!

Mountain Biking & Hiking:

The forgotten asset in the Klamath National Forest is its accessibility through thousands of miles of wagon trails, logging roads, mining access routes and original Indian trails. You can bike loops directly from our ranch that take you up gut-busting grades or gently slope down a hill all the way! Listen to the whisper of the Karuk Indians on the wind as you ride to secret lakes, forgotten mining sites and old growth forests. Bring your own bikes or call the ranch at (800) KLAMATH to reserve a rental.
